The Dooder! Which by the way, he has officially asked me not to call him that in public, because it's "embarrassing". I think that just about broke my heart when he told me that, but I will respect the humbled request of my 7 year old. Just today I was putting his 2nd grade school picture into the frame on the wall, replacing the 1st grade picture, and was so amazed at how much his face has changed. His little baby face is gone! In it's place is this sophisticated, serious, yet silly, young boy. I wanted to smile and cry at the same time.
Ethan had a great Spring season with Rocklin Little League, and will likely join a Pony league come next Spring. Ethan loves baseball, especially the Giants, and can name nearly all of the players & their positions on the team. Of course that doesn't surprise me that Ethan also knows the logistical side of the game. He is my "thinker" of the bunch, and spends much time analyzing....well just about everything he thinks about.
But behind that spinning wheel is the goofiest kid, with the wittiest one-liners. Anyone who knows Ethan, has probably witnessed this silly side of him. With this most contagious laugh, it's sometimes hard to discipline his little goofy butt!
